Past Events

  • Zero Means Zero; Is it possible?:  Ottawa TAG Debates Councillor Alex Cullen

    September 15th, 2009, from 7 to-9 pm
Champlain Room, Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West, Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 1J1

Kindly attend please invite others so they can hear the facts and make a judgement about the past and current anti zero means zero actions of Council.

We shall also be presenting a clear step by step process on how to achieve zero by reducing the wage costs of delivering deep core services, non core services and support services.

The debaters from Ottawa TAG are Ade Olumide and Bill O'Malley; Councillor Cullen will also have a second person. This is not a debate about personalities or style, this is an opportunity to inform the public about the spending record of Council and the impact to the average household. The property taxes for some people now exceed their mortgage payments, and the spending growth is likely to double taxes in 10 years.

Our goal is to ensure that the 100,000 plus people that voted for zero means zero know that it is possible and exactly how it can be achieved. To this end we need your help to spread the word and we need the media to cover the facts that will be presented at the debate.
